25 Year old Gibson

Recommended Posts

Do you want to play it, or save it for some museum someday?

If you're worried that maybe, some collector might not want to pay stupid dollars for a guitar that has never been ___, then put it in a glass case and never touch it again.

Otherwise, unless you hack the crap out of it, I say do what you want and let the chips fall where they may.

My '61 Melody Maker has been in the family since '70. (my son had it for 10 or 15 years)

It's not for sale. I had it refinished in clear poly around 1978. 1 piece Mahogany body.

I'm sure that ruined the value.....
