ksdaddy
Ummm... you do know it's a scam auction, right?
TM
My favorite Gibson to come out in the last few years. This auction, even with the bids, is a scam. Check out the buy it now for $1700. This is a hijacked listing. Not sure why so many have bid. Terry
jannusguy
i've reported this guy twice. ebay replies there's not enough evidence of fraud to pull the listing. infuriating.
suburude63
Why does e bay continue to post it if its a scam. They should pull it ! They have pulled my adds just for saying it was also "for sale locally" Very very strange !! Sorry guys I just came upon it and thought wow! rar
ebay replies there's not enough evidence of fraud to pull the listing. Not enough evidence?? (1) The ad first says he will not end the auction prematurely, (2) there is a font change from sober to goofy, (3) it then says he will only sell at the buy it now price, "no bids allowed", (4) you have to contact him via email to buy it, not buy it through ebay, (5) he doesn't get email sent through ebay, so you have to use the address in the ad and email him directly. What counts as enough evidence? Do you have to say "this is a scam" explicitly in the listing? -- Bob R

jannusguy
i was scratching my head when i got that reply. the thing screams bogus. ebay suggested that they might pull it if the original lister (owner of pics) actually complained. heck, he prolly sold the guitar already and isn't paying attention.
