Reiska666
His son Brad Green, writing on his father's web site, released the following statement... "It is with the greatest of sorrow that I have to inform you all that my father, Mick Green, has this morning (11th Jan 2010) passed away. My dad will be deeply missed by his family, friends and fans all around the world. He inspired and dazzled with his amazing talent and his sharp personality and wit. His spirit and his music will continue to live on through his music. Thank you all for your support and thoughts." NeoConMan
Hmmmm.... Under my radar. I wonder if he had a bigger following in Europe than in the USA? The name rings no bells with me at all. God rest his soul none the less. Fellow guitarist - good enough for me if you guys knew him. :)

Have you ever heard the song "Shakin All Over"? I´m sure you will... It was written by Green in the beginning of his career....he was englishman and as you said, known better in europe than USA. A talented guy who inspired also british r&b band Dr.Feelgood "killer" guitarist Wilko Johnson with his style. briefly: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mick_Green
