Gibson CS
I just visited the "Custom" thread. Seems like all questions are answered by a Gibson PR person. I guess you have to drop 4 or 5K to get that kind of one on one. Weve been waiting how long for a lounge to discuss music and share a laugh or two? NeoConMan
I'm not seeing it now, but there was a link thru the Custom Shop to "Build Your Own" Les Paul. Interactive, you select the top wood, color, number of pickups, covers, mounting rings, binding or no, gold or chrome hardware, trap or dot onlay, fingerboard wood, knob type...... Called Gibson about three years ago to inquire, they said the price started at $6k. On a side note, when I ordered my Custom Shop double neck two years ago it only cost $2,700 out the door. I asked about getting 57 Classics and Grover rotomatic tuners on it from the factory - the price DOUBLED! I'm not kidding.
Gibson CS
$2700 for a doubleneck?....Id take one right now if I could get one for that price. All you asked for was special pups and tuners...it doubled? That makes me ill!
