guitar12 Posted January 29, 2010 Share Posted January 29, 2010 Anybody have experience with this model. A used one has shown up at my local guitar store and it is pretty sweet. From the little information that I could glean off of the Internet it seems that only 300 of these were made in 1997 and it is essentially a Southern Jumbo. Rambler Posted January 30, 2010 Share Posted January 30, 2010 The HWJR is an SJ w/early 50s appts: block logo. small guard. belly bridge (more desireable imho than the std late 50s version). Came in two flavors: mahogany and rw. No idea how the thing actually sounded, surely no worse than a std J45 of the period. How much they askin?
