Can you recommend suitable hard foam case for a Gibson 335?

It's been said many times here that a Gibson should never be transported in anything other than a "hardshell case". But I for one do realize the need for, and advantages of, a gig bag or case that can be strapped over the shoulders.

The most important thing to look for in a soft, or semi-soft case is protection for the headstock. As we all know, the Gibson angled headstock is the weakest point of the guitars design, and the most frequent area of major damage.

Sure. Hence I'm opting for a hard foam case with neck support like the link below. I won't ever be putting this item in the back of a car or van, or any other high risk environment.

This case holds strat/tele size guitars. I require a similar sturdy design with shoulder straps but with the right dimensions to hold an 335.

Any ideas folks?

Especially a 335.

Sorry, I just don't think it's a good idea.

And the factory hard case is not extraordinarily large.

I don't see the problem.

Can't help here.

Have you considered using a case cover with shoulder straps to carry the encased guitar, thereby affording it the superior protection of the hard case within the soft case cover?

They are manufactured by several companies, including Ameritage Cases http://www.finecases.com/browse/gigbags/guitar-family/case-covers.html?sort=Ameritage , Small Dog Cases: http://coloradocase.com/ccc/Small%20Dog%20Price%20List%202009.pdf and Colorado Cases, http://www.finecases.com/browse/gigbags/guitar-family/case-covers.html?sort=Colorado%20Case.

A video depicting the Gibson recreation of Claptons Cream ES-335 showed them transporting that guitar through the airports and the flight in the hardshell case with a case cover having shoulder straps.
