Does this not make the little hairs on the back of your neck stand up?

Greenie was amazing.

As I said on my post on the "Who is your Favourite Guitarist" thread PG is' date=' for me, the best there has ever been with regards both tone and feel.

In an interview, BB King stated that Peter Green was the only guitarist whose sound made even [i']his[/i] neck-hairs stand up.

For me the pinnacle of his sound was reached with the very first triplet on the lead break of 'Worried Dream'. Astonishingly, the original isn't on Youtube so I can't paste a link; sorry!

Couldn't get past the cheezy tone and reverb bath... sorry. Even Gary's version had too much reverb, guess it was the times.... Did that come out before Black Magic Women by Santana?? Sure sounds familiar...

I have been told that Peter green was laying down those types of licks long before Santana.

By the way, guess who wrote Black Magic Woman?..........Mister Peter Green.
