Blues DeVille

Have you checked craigslist? I don't know about your area, but my local listings are flooded with those amps.

I'd also check eBay. Who knows... you may score a good deal on a local pickup like I did.

Those are pretty sweet amps. I used to want one. They're EXTREMELY loud but I assume you already know that. One thing I don't like about them is that the volume seems to jump from too quiet to way too loud. Maybe I'm just not using something right.

Good luck though.

How ya feelin' Cali?

I'm getting better. It's been a slow, long process.

I still have residual problems with my breathing. A real bad case of bronchitis.

Two different antibiotics, symicort, and prednesone steroid.

I think I've turned the corner, although sometimes I feel like I'm regressing.

Today was a good day.

Thanks for asking.

YOU SICK BASTARD!

:-/

Okay, I know that's not nice.

And you know for a fact I wouldn't call you that without good reason.....

Glad you're on the mend - that stuff sucks the life outta ya.

On top of everything else, it's the fatigue that finally drives me out of my mind.

Yeah, getcha a 4x10 DeVille.

You deserve it for surviving The Plague.

Thanks Neo.

It's been tough. I haven't been this sick since I had Cytomeglio Virus in '98.

The amp is really for one of my friends.

He just picked up a nice Gibson 335 and wants a good blues amp.

Funny... this guy has been the rock and foundation for a band as a bass player and they're wanting him to step up and start playing lead guitar. So he has his 335 and now he needs a good blues amp.

I tried to tell him to get a good, used Dr. Z Route 66. Figured with the milkshake thick tone of that amp, it'd do him right. The DeVille is a few hundred dollars cheeper and they're plentiful on craigslist. I'm sure what ever he chooses he'll be alright.
