Silenced Fred Posted April 5, 2010 Share Posted April 5, 2010 The more I realize Gibson style guitars are for me. I would like a hollowbody or two, but I can't really see playing with much else. Silenced Fred Posted April 5, 2010 Author Share Posted April 5, 2010 I think most of us here feel the same. Well, for me the coolest thing is the humbuckers and overall feel. Above that, I like playing with the knobs, turning the tone all the way down on the bridge makes kind of a faux bass effect for me. Not the same as an octave pedal, but close. Setting one pickup all the way up, then turning the other one down, allows me to switch from quick cleans to dirty in the flick of a wrist. The feel is superb, something about them is just right.
