mcmurray
Guitar lessons FTW!! I'm gonna sign up with the Royal Conservatory of music here in Toronto next semester and get me some real good lessons! I believe that will get me outta my rut....though a new guitar works pretty well too...my Tele is making me play different stuff....yeehaw!!! You bastard! I'd love to do something like that. Is that a full music degree Shred?

No no nothing like that....there are a few levels of courses you can take...i'll start with Beginner (since i am self taught and know zero theory) and move my way up through the ranks....as long as I can continue to afford it of course... Basshole
Circle of Fifths Major Scales Melodic Minor Harmonic Minor/Major Whole tone scales Master these things and you can play just about anything. Then we can move on to Bebop dominant scales and Spanish 8 tone scales.
