saturn
I don't remember the first... but a few I listened to a lot were Seasons in the Sun - Terry Jacks (This may have been the first?) Ballroom Blitz - Sweet Welcome to my nightmare - Alice Cooper Lucy in the sky with Diamonds - Elton John Wasn't it cool when you could own Seasons In The Sun and Welcome To My Nightmare and saw no conflict? Then we hit those teenage years where your identity is directly related to what music you listen to. (See dem00n :- ) Then when you get into adulthood (some of us at least) can go back to listening/buying whatever music we want without worrying about our image. ISirius42
+1 to that! I gave my allowance to my sister so that she could buy David Essex's "Rock On" and she came home with "Seasons in the Sun" :-( It wasn't until MP3s that I got my copy of the Essex's "right" version of "Rock On" :-)

Robin Nahum
Return to Sender - The King with the Jordannaires intoning deeply, "She wrote upon it...". Can't remember the flip side. RN
