The marquee free agents don't want to sign with teams like the Orioles, Pirates, Royals, and other smaller market teams because they want to play "for a contender." But, until these teams improve their talent, how can they become more competitive and contend? I still miss the days when your favorite player stayed on your team for most, if not all, of his career.
