autodex
Hello, I replaced the plastic truss rod cover on my ES 335 with a custom cover. Thought I would share. Now I just have to install it! Original Pic
crazyhair
I love it! Is it painted or inlay, I can't tell from the picture? I would like to do something like that with a pick guard.

PP_CS336
Beautiful, autodex. Maybe you ought to do a little business of you own on the side. If you aksed Gibson Custom shop to do something like that they'd probably charge an arm and a leg. What type of wood is that you use as the foundation of the truss rod cover under the MOP? autodex
Hi, I cant take credit for the work I had it done by a inlay professional. The wood is ebony. Thanks for the compliment though!

Ken Rayba
After I purchased my ES 345 back in 76', I had Gibson make me a personalized tailpiece. It is the same style as the "Trini Lopez" and "Howard Roberts" tailpiece inserts, wood, with black and my name in-printed on it. It's nice. Heck, back then it only cost $25.
