Dr. Killmore
I have an EJ200 with an "R" serial number. The number is R0506XXX. Can anyone tell me where this guitar was made?
bluesstringer
Do you know the age of the guitar ? I can't find any info on it. If it was made in the 80's, there is no way to track info on it, it was probably made in a Japanese factory and the info is too unreliable for anyone to attempt to track. Guest
I have an EJ200 with an "R" serial number. The number is R0506XXX. Can anyone tell me where this guitar was made? It was made in Korea by Peerless in June of 2005. The Peerless serial numbers usually have a alpha character (letter) to indicate the date but in this case I'm pretty certain about June of 2005. You also seem to be one digit short in the serial number. ...and Al's your uncle.
byrds1965
What Iconclast told you here. The last numbers tell you what build number in line. R = Peerless 05 = 2005 06 = June XXXX = build number.
