The Sheraton's first gig

Recommended Posts

The first time I used the Sheraton yesterday at a gig. I usually play a USA Standard strat and a Gibson Les Paul but yesterday I decided to use my 2 backup guitars, the epi Sheraton and Fender nashville deluxe telecaster - both sounded quite nice, but I must admit I felt very strange not having my strat there (hence taking) the tele - the Sheraton sounded quite nice on the grudgey blues songs, a little weird on the country stuff(but i had to try it) switched over to the tele for the rest of the country rock and southern rock stuff and back over to the Sheraton on the blues and dixie jazz stuff we do with our 78 year old trumpet player.

Thanks![/quote']

I'm pretty sure that the some of the older guits had the "Gibson" TRC while the newer guits have the "E" TRC.

The one in the photo above and the one in the ad are the same guitar.

Hope this makes sense.

Mine just came with the gibson trc and it is a 2006 model epi Sheraton - don't know why, just like someone said, occassionally Gibson like to put that "trc" on some of their epi guitars from time to time.

Thanks eveyone for all the nice comments on the sheri - lets face it, in my books (only my opinion) the Sheri is the best guitar epiphone made (along side the casino) - I really like epi's hollow and semi/hollow bodies they really give Gibson a run for their money on their semi-hollow guitars. Ps - I have never played an epi solidbody so can't commend there.
