Suicidehummer
I found this on GC's website: http://used.guitarcenter.com/usedgear/details.cfm?listId=104716658 Looks like a Hamer to me!
pohatu771
Looks like an Epiphone copy of a guitar copied from a double-cut Les Paul...
Suicidehummer
You mean like an Epiphone copy of a Hamer? Have you ever seen one before? I wonder how it plays...
dbirchett
I have one. Nice little guitars. Double cutaway body with flame maple veneer. The body is thicker than an SG but thinner than a Les Paul so it does not have the weight of a Les Paul. It is a bolt neck. The OBL pickups are all right but the electronics are crap but easily replaced. I will be putting mine up for sale soon to pay for the Sheraton I just got. It got a great review in Guitar Player back in the mid-90s. That's a pretty good price, especially for Guitar Center.
RotcanX
I've always liked the Del Rey. About the only thing that they did wrong on that one was to use a bolt neck. Still. Lovely proportions... always makes me think of Carlos Santana.
Ricochet
A month ago I was going to bid on a nice amberburst, when some dufus offered a first bid of €250(almost 400 bucks!) so I said...hell with it. It's nice looking and all, but it still is a cheap bolt-on with crap PUs.
