jjb1rjb
Is the SG Junior a smaller sized guitar? I'm looking for an electric guitar for my 7 year old. /Thanks
SlagJones
I don't know for sure but I think the SG Junior is a full sized guitar. The Ibanez Mikro is a smaller guitar that might be a good choice. Check here: Ibanez Mikro at MF
Whitmore Willy
Jjb, I think Slag is right about the size. Bought a 3/4 size strat for one of my grandkids. (he is 7) For $100 new it seems to work for him. I'm sure a used one would be much less. Face it, at that age they are going to get their share of nicks and scratches. (the guitar probably will too)
Dietrich
The Junior is a regular sized guitar. I tried the 3/4 Strat once, and it was really cool! I would buy this for my nephew too, if he didn't show signs of becoming a drummer (yeah, every family has its share of skeletons in the closest). RobinTheHood
The Junior is a regular sized guitar. also, with the junior models, they have a bolt-on neck. The bolt-on design makes the guitar shorter than the set-neck models by a couple of inches.
