yea i plan on droppin another $400-$500 to get it factory specs. (again minus the tuners, dont like gold )

and i am toying with idea of fralins p-90 if he will do it in nickle dogeared covers. any thoughts? should i stay with the gib pups?

It's your guitar...do whatever you want! Fralin's are fine! Besides...even with that guitar, no one is

"John Lennon!" So, I wouldn't worry about it, that much. But, that's just me...

tuners and trapeze tailpiece have been ordered :) i bought this for $100 bucks at the epi yardsale

 

What is the EPI yardsale? Is it a liquidation they have at the factory? Can you buy only when you show up there at the premises?

In another thread about a week ago, someone had a link to an ebay auction for the exact same shell that you purchased. If I remember correctly, the seller was selling them for $400 to $600. Not a bad ROI if they sell.

 

There is the thread regarding the lefty Casino that is very similkar to this and that one has been sold for $1500. That seller added the items required to complete the guitar, but I'm sure they didn't have $1500 into the guitar. Once again, a very nice ROI.

It's now going for $1100.... I would dare to say he's breaking even at this point.
