Great guitars! But personally I agree with "Mr. Presley" about your changes to the Dot. Please don't "customize" the look of that beautiful Les Paul! Actually, the "damage" or "punk" look that you're trying to achieve can be acquired pretty simply. Play the thing so hard that blood from your fingers and wrists actually makes it short circuit. TWANG Posted January 28, 2009 Share Posted January 28, 2009 I don't have any objection to the decoration or anyone's personal expression..just a worry about the electrical tapes glue.. it might chemically react with the finish over time.. So, since it's cheap and easy, just pull it up once in a while to check for any discoloring or hazing. my wife used to wear a t shirt that read FCK the only thing missing is YOU! I was a bit more hippy, she was a bit more radical. Now she's all establishment, but I'm still a bit more hippy! So the rest of you guys.. relax. things change, sometimes.
