Hi

im new to the forum and currently looking for a new epiphone and need some help

I currently have a 1981 Gibson es335 in cherry and looking to exchange it for a Casino.

I am trying (and struggling) to find a 1960's Casino the only one i found was at vintage and rare (where i bought mine) but was sold

Im not fussy about condition just as long as it plays nice.

I had a 1966 fender Coronado which i loved and want to go back to a Hollow guitar

If anyone could help i would be greatfull

A USA-made Casino is going to cost 1.5-2x what you could sell the Gibson for.

Your best bet, I think, is to buy a modern Custom Shop ES-330. That's what I would do.

And keep the Gibson, if you can. If you're set on buying a Casino, expect to pay an addition $1000-1500 on top of what you get for the ES-335 for a Kalamazoo guitar.

Keep your ES-335!! Buy an "Elitist" Casino...awesome sounding and playing...and it's USA (Vintage) specs and electronics.

Poly finish (instead of the old Nitro)' date=' but it's thinly applied, and very nicely done. That would be your best alternative...IMHO, as always.

I concur. Keep the 335, buy an Elitist Casino while they are still being made (I wonder where, though), and you will have two pretty different guitars.

I agree about keeping a guitar, almost anytime it comes up, but a little more for the one you have.

But, if you really don't want it. be very careful selling it and get what it's worth!

Also I agree about the elitist casino. Very well worth having!
