Im looking to get a '56 reissue somewhere online but Im not to sure where to look. MF will be getting some on March 3rd, but they are discontiued?? Dave Posted February 22, 2009 Share Posted February 22, 2009 If I were ordering a guitar online again, I think I'd buy a case and ask for the guitar to be shipped in the case. My Goldtop got shipped in the Epiphone box inside a larger box with only some crushed paper inside. The foam inside the Epiphone box was exploded into pieces from sliding around. Lucky as it was, the guitar didn't have a scratch. I was both shocked and amazed at the same time. The '56 reissue Goldtop is a real bargain at $399 if you can find one.
