lespaul131
Okay, I am in a pretty bad situation right now. My Epiphone Les Paul Custom's headstock broke and is un-repairable. What guitar do I buy, what do I do now???

lpfan
I would suggest a gibby lp if you have the cash. If you do not go with another epi lp. Just try to find one that really sings to you. I like lp's so thats why I am recommending another one. If you don't mind I would like to get the broken lp if I could. You can keep the hardware if you want. Good luck with whaterver you decide. By the way, how did it break?

Did the strap come off when you were slinging the thing around you, 80s style? Bring it back to life!!!!
JefferySmith
Do you want another LP? If that isn't important buy a Sheraton. If it has to be an Epiphone, the Slash model has gotten good reviews in the magazines. There are also some non-Epiphone LP models out there, but we don't talk about them here. weeladdie
Most headstock breaks are repairable, if you managed to find all the pieces. Don't give up on it so quickly, get a professional opinion on the repair.
JefferySmith
Hey, you're deflating the GAS right out of him. And what is he going to play during the time it is being repaired? We are here to PROMOTE GAS, not prevent it!

[/quote'] God, I remember doing the SAME thing back in the day with MY guitar...It was a GIBSON LES PAUL WITHOUT STRAP LOCKS!!! How foolish of me, but I was too taken with how cool it looked. I think I remember the git player in Cinderella first doing it.
