mgrmatt Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 This was posted in my local craigslist http://nashville.craigslist.org/msg/1083119622.html I was just wondering what model it was? thanks, mgm
RobinTheHood Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 Its a Coronet. And for $100, somebody made off like a bandit. I've seen these on ebay for $2000-3000. My head hurts. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190294929521

RobinTheHood Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 Oh my... Am I off the mark on this? Lay it on me. I can take it.
floydpink7 Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 Haha no, you're right with this one. I was just thinking about the guy who sold it... If he knew how much it was worth, I think he'd be kicking himself
RobinTheHood Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 Lol. Right on. I've been wrong before. I'd have drove from Mich. to Tenn. to buy that guitar...TONIGHT! No doubt about it. Hell, I'd have taken a day or two off work for that. I just wonder if I'd feel guilty for it?
floydpink7 Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 If a day or two of work is worth less than $3000... then I don't think you'd feel guilty But hey, they'll be more deals. Who knows! maybe a 59' Les Paul sunburst!
mgrmatt Posted March 20, 2009 Author Posted March 20, 2009 I wasn't sure about the value but I would have gotten it but as you can imagine it didn't last long. mgm

ME: "Well, it DOES look kinda old. Hmmmm. Well, MAYBE I can clean it up and put some new strings on it, it'll give me something to just plink around on..." (Maintain cool until out of sight, then YELL LIKE HELLLLL!!!!!!!!)
animalfarm Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 I HAD to go back and look again...... (Sigh...) Craigslist Post: The guitar has been sold thank you. This is a older model Epiphone electric guitar but still looks to be in good condition. Its broken on the tips of the white trim and gone but everything else looks ok. We have no way test the electric part but it plays fine. Would make a good guitar for a beginner. Asking $100 WAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
