Rexfordbridge
I don't have my guitar in front of me. The guitar is the Epiphone Elitist Les Paul 1957 Goldtop. I'm purchasing some Guitarforce - Rebel I PAF's. Heard some great comments about these. Anyway, the owner of the company has asked if I want Polished or Raw Nickel for the pickup covers. 1) What are the current pickups on the guitar, Raw or Polished Covers? 2) My last cosmetic question is, after I replace the pots I will need to replace the knobs on the pots. Are the stock knobs the bell shaped or speed shaped? If you need a reference, it is here...http://www.wymoreguitars.com/bKnobs-and-Switch-Tipsbbrbr_c_65.html and also here http://www.gibson.com/en-us/Divisions/Epiphone/Elitist/Les%20Paul%20_57%20Goldtop

Rexfordbridge
I truthfully do not remember. That's why I was asking someone that might know what the stock pickup covers are. Polished or raw?

Bender 4 Life
you've bought a guitar with no idea what the pickups or knobs look like.............. it's starting to sound like you're trying to counterfeit an Elitist from something else........ but then again I could be wrong, i've seen me do it before. Rexfordbridge
I'm glad that you just jump to ridiculous conclusions Bender. I don't have the guitar in front of me so I ask the questions.
Guest icantbuyafender
for cryin out loud, "polished" is a term used to describe shiny things. on all epi's the covers are chromed giving a shiny polished look. The knobs won't fit usa cts pots. you'd need to get gibson knobs or widen the shaft hole of the stock pots just a bit.
