peeper Posted January 23, 2010 Share Posted January 23, 2010 Good to hear you're enjoying the new guitar. New Chinese Epis have no letters, only numbers. The neck is Mahogany. Maybe you have one of those dumb veneers everyone's always talking about, its just a different color. The black paint is supposedly shielding paint. I have check conductivity and it is spotty at best, you need several thick coats of that stuff to work. I would get some foil in there. You are gonna have to live with the glue spot.
