Posting this so anyone who is looking for new git AND might

like Studios won't miss out if they've been waiting to go for it...

One of our forum members posted this in another thread, it's

too good a price to pass up if you're looking to buy a new guitar,

unfortunately won't ship international by either company. I won't say

who SHE is, but her Martin HD-28 was recently used by younger folks

as a sled to go down a rock cliff...(ahem).

Anyway, The Epi LP Studio comes WITH covered pups AND Tulip tuners

ALREADY, is $299.00 from "Guitar Center", but if you would rather deal

with Musician's Friend, CALL THEM, tell them about the G.C. price, they will

find it on the net, and MATCH the price. Colors - Wine Red, Alpine White, or

Black. Price match means you'll be ordering while on phone with them.

The $299 price is BETTER than what I bought mine for in 2008...#-o

and mine had black open coil HBs, chrome d-tip tuners, and dots on fretboard

instead of Trapezoidal inlays.

You do know that GC bought MF years ago, don't you?

So basically you're dealing with the same company.

But anyway, thanks for the info. #-o

I hadn't looked at the pics, Animal so I didn't even notice the physical differences. Mine is set up like yours. This is a nicer looking git, but, alas, the Arctic Blue is not available!

Edit: Just figured it out - it's a NEW Studio - Limited Edition Deluxe Studio!

Interesting, then, that MF doesn't have the matching price up on their site. One would think that they would know that their 'sister' store would be selling at 25% off.

Ha! Artic Blue is a Good color' date=' I guess EPI just made a

LOT of the 3 mentioned. Still, If I had the spare cash, I'd be

all over gettin' another Studio for that price.

Peter,

Very nice! And very lucky for those who can take advantage.

Animal,

Funny! She looks a bit scary, though! I agree, if funds there, another Studio would be nice. Love those new details. Just not loving the same old, same old colors.

That is a darn good deal. Where are all those folks on here who are always looking for a first LP!

Eric' date=' I agree with you. The entire purpose of this thread was to

put out the word - [b']Great guitar, Great price, NEW, Factory warranty, etc,[/b]

to those who may be looking for a new git for a GOOD price.

I'll admit, the STUDIO isn't "Bling-Bling", but as the old song says -

"Let the MUSIC do the talkin'"...

My OWN LP Studio is a KEEPER,

never let it go. No "Bling", but another forum member recently

tried to talk me into a trade - MY Mahog Studio for a 75W Peavey

Viper with a Texas Patriot speaker installed. Amp was loud enough

for most local club gigs, but after selling 5 of my 8 electrics for "financial

concerns", I pased on the deal = no way I will have only ONE guitar.

The Amp Sounded great, especially at gig volume. Sorry, I wish I could

could "fool myself" into the one - guitar mode, but I can't. Sigh... :-k[angry] [angry]
