His J-45 sounds like a church here.......well balanced and dry as a bone. The song is very strong lyrically but quite simple melodically, a lament about a friend fooling herself about what it is to love. But it is his voice that makes this one for me.....clear and pure with a great display of controlled power. This is singing from the gut, pushing air through the chords from below with great control. Great vocals, and a great sounding J-45 ! I've never heard of him either but what a great voice, I love it. What kind of mics are those (instrument and vocal)?
