Mash94 Posted August 6, 2008 Author Posted August 6, 2008 Gibson Island on the lifestyle page under the interactive button there is an option to go to "Gibson Island"
FreedomStain Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 If you look at the Gibson e-mail news-letter, Gibson became part of this interactive online world where people create characters and interact. I forget what it's called (and I'm too lazy to look) but if I wrote the name you would have probably said "Oh, I heard of that... I think." I saw the virtual tour of the island from the e-mail and it is just ridiculous. From what I saw and understood, it is in the shape of a Les Paul and serves as yet another outlet for Gibson to be in everyone's face. Any of you remember that TV commercial two years ago with the sultan? lol. This is their next next frontier. First it was middle aged men and housewives who don't know what to get their husbands, then it was the videogame generation, then huge G n' R fans from when they were still G n'R, and now I guess lonely fat people.
hi13ts Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 It looks like a fun thing to do on a boring rainy day.

hi13ts Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 or you could just play your guitar You're right, but if you want to do something else that's somewhat related to guitar.
