cookieman15061
A few years ago while on vacation in Jamaica I got the chance to jam with many of the locals. Now I'm not a reggae player per se but jammin is a universal language and had a great time. Anybody else ever find themselves out of their normal element and get the chance to jam with local musicians? Here's one awful picture my wife took on one of those nights on the island. damian
Sure, many many times; usually while traveling in Europe and Canada. Out of my usual element? Sure, but it never felt that way. I've met and played with a handful of famous musicians; sometimes that was out of my element...sometimes not.
MrNylon
I jammed with a local Country band in Nashville once. It went well, and the guys were great.
cookieman15061
Definitely exciting and sometimes exhilarating just getting the song key and flying by the seat of your pants.
