ChanMan
Why would any chicken want to go to the other side? The lure of the Darkside is strong....
ChanMan
What's the difference between tunning to a lower pitch versus tunning to flat? if there is a difference. 1/2 step lower is tuning to the flat. A lower pitch can be any pleasing note lower than standard. (got that last bit from the duclimer :) )

ChanMan
Gee... What's a Duclimer? <chortle schnarf> (I used to play a little dulcimer, a long, long time ago.) m A dulcimer is a mountain instrument that one might assume is the canned music while browsing the wares at the Smoky Mountain Knifeworks. It is also the instrument that is actually being played live and one's wife might insist one purchase. Also , easiset instrument to play ever. Love mine. Red cedar and made by Katy Parton :)
surfpup
Also , easiset instrument to play ever. The frets are placed in such a way that all the notes sound in key, right? The exception is hammered dulcimer. That's a different instrument altogether I think.
ChanMan
Yes sir. There are 2 types of mountain dulcimer... one has an extra fret which allows for a half step required in some songs. Hammered dulcimers are a different breed altogether. Check out Vince Conaway on the hammered dulcimer. He rocks.

Riverside
Because Bud light is not really beer and ruins a perfectly good lime. After fishing for two or three days, a half Coors Light and a half Clamato with a lime slice for brushing one's teeth ain't half bad. But that BL stuff is horrible. Absolutely f's up a good lime.
