Oh, I think we can all agree that Judas Priest and Iron Maiden are still metal. I don't think I've really heard of much that was once considered metal (except maybe for glam/hair metal, which was never really legit anyway) losing its status as metal. But Priest and Maiden are sacred to the community--they're metal, always.

As for Metallica, yeah they're great, but I figured personally that I'd try to post more obscure stuff because I think most of the people on here have probably heard at least one Metallica song. The same can't be said for Overkill or Fates Warning.

You'd actually be surprised at how many of the younger kids don't now anything about Metallica before the Black Album. If you want't obscure I will dig up some obscure! msp_biggrin.gif
