1959 Gibson Melody Maker HELP

Hello everyone, Im Scotty. My dad gave me his guitar ('59 Gibson Meoldy Maker) For my 21st birthday about 2 years ago. I havent messed with it because i need to rewire the guts. I have looked everywhere for some schematics for the melody maker and cant find what i need at all. It is a Single Pickup and has 2 knobs and an input jack. If anyone knows of or has a picture of the back part of the Pickguard and the wiring for it, it would help me out more than anything. I just want to wire it and hear the baby play. Any Help Guys? Thanks a Lot.

Check out this schematic:

It's for a single P-90, but the basic scheme should be the same. Check if you have the original pots and cap, try to re-use them if they're not too damaged! Also you'll be able to see what the original resistance and inductance values are. I don't know if the original MM's came with 500k or 250k pots, or a mix like in this schematic.
