Wow...

 

Made me wanna get out the nylon string guitar.

 

Never heard of 'em and that's a loss.

 

I've heard jazz cello before, but usually played like a "bass."

 

An odd thought, though... I wonder how the lady's voice sounds... if it sounds like the range she plays the cello, specifically...

Thanks for the posts...very interesting...

Loopers are great fun since they became really good in the mid 00's, I'm currently enjoying the potential for enhancing a band's sound

Cellos for me personally are a challenge to place in the 'popular' mix

I can listen to folk fiddle all day

And a well placed cello in a symphony or string quartet has a powerful voice.....

Any yet the cello has been used in many classic rock recordings. ELO's use of the cello was great. I'm surprised it's not used more..
