matiac Posted February 16, 2011 Share Posted February 16, 2011 None of the 3 Gibsons I had were scarfed. HOWEVER, the neck heel on my Goldtop was 2 pieces of wood, and the usual wings on the peghead itself. My Blue guitar (Korean Epi) was scarfed at the 4th fret. I've seen some of the Ibanez Jems with a scarf in the same place. I think China's putting the scarf higher up toward the peghead...maybe they oughta move it back down where it's supposed to be?
