brad1
Here you go -----> http://www.kellyindustries.com/articles/guitar_glossary.html It depends on which model you are talking about when it comes to what year. Most of the time the neck is described as a certain shape, such as "C" or a "D" shaped neck. The link above gives details on this.

I have a pic in "Float-o-bucket" of the cross-sections of the neck styles, but your link goes into more detail. PLUS covers many more areas within the Glossary. I'll be nosing around on the site, specifically looking at the Glossary, but - What the heck, this is one I'm going to CRAM into the "Do-it-Yourself Thread", which brings the total number of links/topics to about 110??? Dang.... I guess it'll end up in either the "Tech Tips" or "Misc. Cr@p" section - may not be used often, but will be there for quick reference. Better to have access to more info than you need than not enough, eh? Crud - this means I have to go back into EDIT mode and seriously look at possible removal of redundant links to keep the thread from growing TOO long... With the Epiphone guitars the neck profiles are not decribed/recreated that detailed as with Gibson neck profiles.

Hey Animal, how pissed would you be if Epi's forum server crapped the bed again and they didn't have a backup? Might want to make your own backup if you haven't already .... milod
I tried a cupla guitars with that V shape. Argh! I don't know if it's age or what, but I feel more comfy with something closer to the flat oval, but with a large radius (spelled "flat") fingerboard. Good thread! m
