telescreamer
Hi there. I'm hoping that some Gibson experts here can help me find out if this is a real gibson or some sort of copy. I have absolutely no knowledge of Gibson acoustics as I only play solid body electrics. It looks fake for me, for some reason. Thanks auction link
jannusguy2
Looks real to me. Compare it to the one I have for sale in the Trading Post here.
ryanfender
Yeah, looks correct. The pickgaurd look funny though. Not fake, but hazy or damaged. Just doesn't look right to me.
J-200 Koa
The plastic film may have never been removed from the pickguard. There is a natural J-185 True Vintage that has been on eBay for some time and it still has the plastic on it.
StijnV
Looks genuine to me also ! If you have a picture of the serial number we can also roll it in our database to see if everything matches.
ryanfender
Plus, I am guessing that the J-185 would be one of the least popular guitars to counterfeit and Epi doesn't make a J-185 that someone could modify.
BigKahune
. Legit. It's got a nice lookin' burst. But I like Jannus', with the crosses inlaid in the bridge.
