jannusguy2 Posted May 7, 2011 Share Posted May 7, 2011 he will be in my town on 5/25 , i think. might be 5/26. he was here a year or so ago and i spent the afternoon with him. 1st- i'm a concert promoter, of 30 years, in my town. i had access AND a JB signature prototype from 2007 (fullers). he played my guitar and showed me 15 of his AMAZING DAMN GIBSONS (and a couple of examples of small builders). sound checked each one and gave me a run down on what he liked about it as he checked. very generous guy. made me feel so welcome. he'll be back in a week or three but, i think i will spare him any of my latest acquisitions. go see him. you'll see a traveling museum of some of Gibson's finest work. and, you'll hear it extremely well represented. the songs are good, too.
