EPI Lounge Do-it-Yourself Thread changes - Just FYI

Recommended Posts

Just posting for Info purposes:

Added to Guitar Projects:

1. STEWMAC TRADE SECRETS - worth a read!

2. "WILLY's 1970's NORLIN Les Paul REFUBISHMENT THREAD" (title keeps changing!)

(next time you change your title, I'll have to see if link still works!)

In Other Areas:

Dumped a few links that will most likely never be used and are just

taking up space.

Does ANYONE ever use the "Design your own guitar" links anymore?

For the "BASIC GUITAR PAINTING" Section:

STILL LOOKING for GOOD links/Threads on General Guitar painting tutorials

for our members...... I know we learn from our mistakes, but gotta have a starting

point. Yes, there are painting instructions contained in some of the PROJECTS,

(mine included), but want some easy access how-to's.

Animalfarm,

The guit is 70's and thanks for the thought.

A couple more steps and we'll give it any name you like.

How about "LP Rebuild" (most everything I'm doing applies to any LP)

With the exception of using nitro for the drop-fill instead of super glue or nail polish... and...

Using long parts instead of short...these are the same mods I do to my Epiphone Les Pauls.

I also agree with RaSTuS about the "Design your own guitar".

Indeed it will...

As long as the thread number remains the same.

Pruning is good. Its also a good idea to check for broken links every so often. You never know when some of these websites will disappear.

Keep up the good work, Greg!

RTH - Noted - as long as "The Song remains the Same".

Isnt it funny how song lyrics creep up in every day vernacular? I sent a message to Brian the other day and used the phrase "having read the book". It was unintentional, but I chuckled after I read it back.
