Bowdiddley Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Did anyone else see them on Jimmy Fallon? http://www.latenightwithjimmyfallon.com/blogs/2011/05/web-exclusive-the-cars-perform-lets-go/
brundaddy Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 I am a giant Cars fan but the drummer was struggling. What sweet SGs, love those pinstripes! Too bad it wasn't one of theirs with a wicked EE solo.
cookieman15061 Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 Those first two albums are just so freakin good. I still listen to em to this day!

No way man. The drummer was in the pocket. Don't confuse strained facial impressions with struggling. The drummer was tight. And as they play more he'll probably look more relaxed and start laughing more.
damian Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 It's good to see E.E. back in the picture..............Great guitarest....
DB Cooper Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 Excellent! The Cars first album was the very first record I ever completely absorbed. I used to put the headphones on, drop the needle into the groove on side one, and just disappear into the music. I knew every note, every word. That record will always be in my top five. And, those SGs are SWEET!
