rocketman
I saw him a few months ago. In one word....WOW!!! He of course played his Fender Strat, but at one point he did a tribute to Les Paul. He played How High the Moon, plus some others. He brought out a Les Paul guitar and started "falling" to the floor when he put it on. So he took a little stab at the weight difference between it and a Strat. His new bass player, Rhonda Smith, is out of this world. If you get a chance, this is one concert you should not miss!! I had some pretty good seats, as you can see...
brundaddy
Did he at least, as a tip of his hat to his muse, play anything from Nigel Tufnel's catalog? After all, he owes his career to the guy.
cookieman15061
I think it's Nigel that owes his career to Jeff.

brundaddy
I think it's Nigel that owes his career to Jeff. Well for a brief period in the obscure early days they were peers, I'll give you that -- but once Beck started copying Nigel's hairstyle... I mean, that should tell you something right there,
brundaddy
And let's face facts! "Blow By Blow." "Lick My Love Pump." Do you really think people don't see Beck's cheap imitation of Nigel? There's no comparison, really.
