LarryUK
Returning to playing after 25 years has surprised me. All the gear and bulls**t. It's a bit like motorbikes. People buy a sportsbike and change parts for weight saving. Yet they weigh 17 stone! So. My thing is. When I used to play a lead was a lead to me. What is the RIGHT lead for things now? What is the diff between a guitar lead and a speaker lead? For an effects loop. Are they different leads? Is an effects loop any good. Hendrix and Clapton didn't have one. I doubt Slash used one or Schon. But they would now. Why? What make is good or rubbish. Looking at pedals. What is rubbish? Is Behringer rubbish? Why? Is Boss still the tops? Some help needed. Searcy
An instrument cable (in cross section, above) is designed to handle low power and high impedance; a speaker cable (in cross section, below) is designed to handle high power and low impedance. The two should never be used interchangeably. http://www.fender.com/news/index.php?display_article=
