BigKahune
Thanks, BK. I'm sure I've said it before but I'll say it again anyhow; I love your Guild Jazzer. I don't think I've seen the Martin (D-45?) acoustic before though...lovely! .... Big K Man I love that Guild X-700 Stuart....how does it play? Thanks guys. The Martin D-45VR I've had for a few years. It's everything you'd expect from a Martin. The Guild X-700 - I walked into Elderly one day in 2008 and it was hanging on the wall. Whoa! I grabbed it immediately. I was deciding between the Guild ($2150 http://www.elderly.com/vintage/items/40U-4380.htm original listin) and a Gibson Super V ($6K http://www.elderly.com/vintage/items/40U-4260.htm original listing). I put the Gibson on hold and took the Guild home planning to use Elderly's return if need be. I kept the Guild. The neck and neck set are absolutely perfect - the playability is unbelievably good. And the sound from that solid carved spruce top (yes solid carved) is very nice. They are very hard to find, because they're keepers, big time.
