It looks like Brad can easily see that you are making stuff up too.

Uhh, you are changing your story now. You thought guitar players only play rock and roll.

NO I DID NOT AND I DID NOT SAY THAT

But you think everyone who picks up an electric guitar uses massive waves of distortion and feedback.

NO I DON'T AND I NEVER SAID THAT

I can recommend to you about a million guitar players throughout history who would consider feedback a problem.

Wow, really? I'm so impressed.

Uhh, there's much more to electric guitar than distortion and feedback.

I had absolutely NO idea. I thought those were the only things involved in playing the instrument. Thank you for that wisdom.

I'm not here to argue

Really? Then how about you stop putting goddamn words in my mouth? You've obviously twisted the ONE LINE comment I made, which was partially poking fun in the first place, into some weird fabrication of the truth inside your head and you decided to tell me that I think that guitar players only play rock n roll and use "massive amounts of distortion and feedback".

I really don't know how to make this any clearer for you. If you can read, then you should read this thread again and you'll notice that I said nothing of the sort. This is the stupidest argument, if you can even call it that, I've ever seen. Please shut up. [-o<

I will never understand why some people consider feedback on hollow bodies a "problem". It's basically just an added effect that can easily be controlled. Don't you people listen to rock and roll?

I think taking his statements out of context is not good form Taxman, if you read SS's full post you'll notice he said it can be easily controlled, which it can. The whole message was meant in a tongue in cheek manner anyway, that's also quiet clear, it is to me at least.

The point is he specifically said that he saw feedback as not a problem. He questioned why some would see it as a problem. I simply told him that for many, in fact for most people who play guitar, feedback is unwanted. Whether one can control it or not, the hint of any feedback is a problem to most guitar players.

I don't see why this is going on. He said something (he didn't know why feedback could be a problem), and I corrected him. No big deal.
