The song went something like: Davie, Davie Crockett King of the wild frontier. Born on a mountain top in Tennessee Greenest state in the land of the free (something else goes here) Killed in a bar when he was only three. "Studied the woods 'til he knew every tree, kilt him a bahr when he was only three...." What's a "bahr"? Why, a Kentucky breed of bear, I suppose.
