Man...i guess i'm really takin' this hard, 'cause i've been weepin' since i heard the news....

 

i seem to recall an interview with Pete Townsend(iirc), where he said that "the best bands are the ones that change people's lives"...

 

Jimi, Mitch and Noel changed the world in so many ways, and in the process they not only changed my musical outlook an' direction, but changed my very being as well....

 

Jimi's writing and playing was definitely enhanced by Mitch's drumming, which propelled Jimi onward and upward...

 

i can't even begin to express to y'all how much they meant to me, how much their music means to me....

....it's a dreary drizzly night here in mid Michigan, the sky is cryin' an' so am i....
