a7d7e7
Hello again, all ..... I saw a used Les Paul Standard from 1989 in a music store today. My cell phone, however, went off, I had to leave the store, and I couldn't play it. Does any know which pick ups are in a 1989 Standard? I don't think Burstbuckers were out in 1989. Could be Classic 57s? Fat neck? Slim neck? I did see the price tag and they're asking $1899.99. Good price? I'm going back to play it tomorrow. If I like it, what's a good counter offer? Thanks, guys. I'll put up pictures if I buy it. Regards, Mark

Holmis
Of topic, but it must be a modern days problem we look at here, my cell phone went down and i had to leave the store? :-) I often wonder how we managed before the cell phone and net era, how did we even survived and could we even enter a store back then :-) SORRY couldn´t resist! Bender 4 Life
likely Bill Lawrence "circuitboard" p'ups like these..... pics taken BEFORE I repaired this botched job done by an "authorized" Gibby mechanic.... sturdy & functional, but mine are a bit generic sounding they survived a literal electrocution that melted the wiring inside my LP & fried several pots & the 3-way.
