I think it will but I doubt Gibson will make any announcement about it, I think the first we'll hear will be when people start to notice it when they remove their nut. I don't think it'll make a blind bit if difference to sound. I do think Gibson should make some commemorative special model with the wood returned by the feds. I'd buy a fed fingerboard r9!
