Blueblooded
Just saw this on the Sweetwater site. It looks like it may give some really different tones. I must say, Gibson keeps coming out with new models (and unfortunately just building some for a limited amount of time and moving on). But I guess this is a good thing as I seem to prefer what some of these different models offer (i.e., Vegas High Roller and Midtown Custom). I just hope they offer this one in something other than natural gloss. I think it would look cool in transparent blue, etc. Thoughts??? http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/DN225N5BC
brundaddy
Looks like something Carvin would make. A boogered-up Nighthawk.
xxx
I try to be very open minded. I purchased one of the original reverse V's! This one is just really cheap looking in my opinion.
LSAR
It's not something that would interest me, even if I was in the market for a Gibson, but they also come in two other finishes: Ebony Pinstripe Some kind of red:
Hydra26
Looks like something Carvin would make. A boogered-up Nighthawk. Reminds me more of something ESP/LTD, Dean, or even BCR would make. Carvin's semi hollows look a lot rounder than that. I don't really care for those vibrato's much either. On the one hand I'm not interested in the thing but on the other hand, I think it's objectively good that that 1) it departs from the normal 2 bucker config and 2) they've been making an effort with things like this and the midtown to offer semi's at a lower price point in addition to their tribute lp's and sg's. jamshaman
I actually like the one with the natural finish, but 1400$ Seriously? I know paying for the Gibson name is part of it, but for what this guitar is it seems much overpriced..
TomV
Ouch. Gibson .. are you really putting a split diamond on this ugly piece of crap ??? How pathetic. As if all those "Custom" Midtowns and whatnots weren´t enough, you have to try fooling people some more..
