80LPC
Looks like a 3 piece body. I am not so familiar with this period, but it appears no binding on neck. Is this correct ? edit - just looked at a '74 on Flickr - no binding. Another here : http://www.vintage-guitars.se/1974_Gibson_SG_Standard_394026.htm This one has the long travel bridge. (same as on my '79 The SG).

jojo68
I bought it guys, I love it !! More pics forthcoming. There shouldn't be an issue putting schaller straplocks on it, should it ? I have them on my '06 stanadard.

SolidGuitar
I got the '74 SG with bigsby and I couldn't put schaller strap locks on it. The original strap pins have larger screws so you'd have to plug the holes and re drill them if its the same as mine. Good luck. It looks sweet. Boston004681
For a '74, It's a Steal! Just my opinion though. I don't but many vintage guitars.
lakehaus
You'll dig that sweet beast! I got mine new ('76), and just can't seem to get rid of it. Mine is all original except one pot, which I replaced with another (1377648). The pups are actually very tonal, and sound good clean and balls-out driven. Enjoy!
