Digster
Greetings, Hey all, I'm Derrick, (Diggy, Digster). New to the forum and thanks for accepting me!.. I been playing guitar for about 25 years, in and out of bands for around 20 years. I had 19 guitars at one time back in the day... wow huh. My bands played speed metal, "Slayer - Pantera - Metallica - Sepultura - Megadeth - and many more". BUT---At home, I listen to all the classic rock bands, (60's - 70's) era... BIG TED NUGENT FAN HERE!.. I'm looking to purchase a Gibson Les Paul that Humbucker pick-ups are compatible with.. preferably a hollow body or semi-hollow body.. ready to go - or gutted out to customize my self. any direction or leads will be appreciated. Thanks.

sparquelito
Good morning, Digster. Glad to have you aboard, mate. Re; the Gibson Les Paul, are you saying that you intend to modify it right off the bat, or buy one with the sound and features you like?
jdgm
The ES Les Pauls are hollowed out with humbuckers, here's the cheaper one; http://www.gibson.com/Products/Electric-Guitars/2016/Memphis/ES-Les-Paul-Special-II.aspx Almost all other LP models are now chambered or weight-relieved in some way. And as noted, there are plenty of second-hand ones out there.
